Caribbean Day 02nd July


Join us for an afternoon of sunshine and music provided by the much acclaimed JUMA Steel Band from London.  Dance along as they fill the air with unique sound of steel pans.


Continue the flavour of the occasion with something from our Caribbean inspired barbeque food, which is served all day.

As the night draws in enjoy a cocktail whilst listening to the relaxed sounds of our Latin disco.

Rum Festival 01st - 10th


The first Rum Festival to be held by The Wellington will lead us into the hottly awaited 6th annual Caribbean day.


With 30+ Rums to try from all over the world, there will be a rum to suit all tastes. Served with the perfect serve mixer, in classic and house cocktails, or just over ice this is 10 days to let out your inner pirate! 


Cider Festival & Ginboree

Over 40 Gins and 20 Ciders on draught join us over the

August Bank Holiday.

Live music each evening and food available every day

this is an event not to be missed.

Featuring both still and sparkling cider from local and national producers, we showcase the best of British cider and perry production. 

Our gins are sourced from as far away as New Zealand, Japan,

South America and Kings Lynn!

A celebration of the finest beer our German friends have to offer.

Over 30 German brews both bottled and on tap showcasing the huge range of flavours and styles that can be achieved within the Reinheitsgebot German Purity Laws, along with adventurous wheat beer, smoked beer or super strong ice bock.  

To keep the beer company why not nibble on some pretzels, enjoy a bratwurst and curry ketchup or some German salami and rye bread.



Here at The Wellington we love Halloween, pop in to enjoy our fully decorated 'Haunted Pub' and bring the children to Trick or Treat.

In recognition of our close familial and social ties with our American cousins we celebrate Thanksgiving each year.

In true Thanksgiving tradition we enjoy a feast of fine food.  

Turkey served with traditional yams, cornbread, stuffing and gravy followed by pumpkin pie and pecan pie.

Booking is an absolute must for this heavily over subscribed sell out event.


Christmas Concert Series

Each year we enjoy a range of musical talent that joins us between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Spanning 10 days, the Wellington Whisky Week showcases over 50 different whiskies from all over the world. 

The event was originally started to compliment our annual Burn's Night celebrations, however Whisky Week has now become an event in it's own right.  

Burns Night has always been a popular event at The Wellington.  Tying together traditional Scottish food, music and poetry it is always a sell out.  Bookings are taken from early January so please don't wait and miss out.
